We may finally have found a winner. Picked it up at winco it was $4ish for the can and it made about 1 crust. It is by far the best gluten free pizza or any type bread product we have had. It has savory seasonings in it.
OMG we've hit the motherload! FINALLY some one is jumping on the Gluten Free Cake bandwagon. We made this tonight and substituted one of the teaspoons of vanilla with LemonExtract. It was so moist, not grainy or heavy like some of the other ones we have tried.
WE found another amazing discovery at Walmart....Gluten free soup! And they are not too shabby! So it makes one of our 'staple' meals quite easy. We love cream of mushroom soup w/chicken over rice. Well regular cream of mushroom soup has wheat in it so we have to make our own cream of mush soup....well with the discovery of the soup at Wally world....we can easily make this now.
Here's how we make it:
2 boneless/skinless chicken breasts, seasoned with season salt, garlic & onion powder cooked, and then dice into pieces
2 cans of Gluten Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
(cook in the same pan the chicken was, add a little (1/2 can) of water to scrape off the yummy bits off the pan
4 Chicken Bouillon cubes crushed into the mix
3-4 Tablespoons of Sour Cream (if no sour cream, 2-3 T plain yogurt, with 2-3 T heavy cream
Mix all ingredients together, bring to a boil, then add about 1lb of cooked brown rice.
There was a time that Rob and I didn't think we could ever eat spaghetti again.....well we were wrong! We found these are the 'best' grain free spaghetti noodles.
We also like the Quinoa brand ones, they work great as well.
We use (we make big batches as we like to have leftovers to take for lunches)
2 Bags of Spaghetti noodles (as they are only 12 oz bags)
2 cans of Hunt's Mushroom Sauce (grain free), we have found just the Mushroom & Garlic ones of the Hunt's that are grain free (and that we like)
1 can of diced tomatoes (can do italian style for extra flavor)
1 pkg Sliced mushrooms (sauteed in garlic/butter)
2-3 Bratwurst Italian style Sausages (New York & Hot Italian) skinned and diced, and cooked up
Also used Garlic & Italian Seasoning to help add flavor (season to taste)
